The initial vision and evolution of the brand
My initial vision for Marquisa by Brigitte was to create more than dresses — I wanted to craft experiences that envelop women in elegance, strength, and individuality. From the very beginning, I was driven by the desire to bring French corsetry back into the spotlight, reinterpreted in a contemporary and refined way.
My education played a fundamental role in shaping this direction. My studies at Fashion Academy Dubai under the guidance of Professor Mohamed Jaber — a disciple of Elie Saab — followed by a master’s degree in Haute Couture Corsetry Techniques from ESMOD, built the technical and artistic foundation of the brand.
Over time, this vision evolved into a complete universe — one that reflects femininity, status, and emotion, where each creation carries a strong and recognizable identity.

The essence of the brand and the emotions it evokes
The signature of Marquisa by Brigitte lies in the perfect balance between the architectural precision of corsetry and the delicacy of hand-worked, precious materials. It is a dialogue between strength and fragility, structure and poetry.
I want the women who wear my designs to feel empowered above all — to experience deep, authentic confidence. At the same time, I want them to feel graceful and elevated, as if stepping into a more refined version of themselves.

The most defining moment for the brand
For me, there hasn’t been just one defining moment, but rather a series of appearances that gradually built the international identity of Marquisa by Brigitte. Showcasing the brand in cities such as Dubai and Monte Carlo, followed by expansion into iconic fashion capitals like Paris, Milan, Tokyo, and Qatar, represents a clear statement: Marquisa is not just a brand, but a presence within the global luxury landscape.
Each presentation has been more than a showcase — it has been a statement of identity. In these moments, my creations are not only seen, but felt, and that is what truly defines their impact.

For me, craftsmanship is always the foundation. Without it, luxury cannot truly exist. Every piece is built with precision, discipline, and respect for haute couture techniques.
The story behind each collection emerges naturally from an emotion or a vision. As for trends, I do not follow them blindly — I filter them through the identity of the brand, ensuring that each creation remains both relevant and timeless.

I design for a woman who is sophisticated, confident, and aware of her presence. She values exclusivity, craftsmanship, and detail.
Her lifestyle is refined and international. She attends important events, travels, and moves within environments where presence matters. She doesn’t wear a dress simply to look beautiful, but to express who she is.

Inspiration and creative process
My inspiration comes from art, architecture, travel, and the energy of the women around me. What truly defines my creative process, however, is the balance between sensitivity and discipline.
The knowledge I gained at Fashion Academy Dubai, combined with my master’s degree in Haute Couture Corsetry Techniques from ESMOD, allows me to transform an abstract idea into a precisely constructed piece.
Each creation begins with a sketch, followed by a technical development phase, and ultimately comes to life through meticulous handwork. The final moment is when the piece is worn — when it becomes an extension of the woman and enhances her presence.
