You have a remarkable ability to integrate women’s rights themes into your writing. How do you approach these crucial topics in your projects?
Honestly, I usually write true stories based on real-life events of other girls or random people I meet. I change their stories’ endings a bit, just to add a little light and hope to them.
Can you describe a recent initiative or campaign that you’re particularly proud of?
I’m proud of detaching myself from the previous environments I lived in, where individuals or families determine girls’ life paths according to their age, education, and beauty. In such environments, a girl’s fate is often confined to being a reproductive machine for another ignorant generation, while traveling, working abroad, independence, and individuality are seen as taboos.
