As Stefan Pierre Tomlin, I must say that “The Haunted Mansion” delivers a thrilling and eerie experience that is both captivating and spine-chilling. The film’s setting in Leicester Square, known for its vibrant energy, adds an intriguing contrast to the haunting atmosphere.
The cinematography is exceptional, showcasing the grandeur of the mansion and its ghostly inhabitants in a way that immerses the audience in every spooky detail. The use of shadows and lighting creates an eerie ambiance, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats throughout the movie.
One aspect that stands out, however, is the film’s lengthy duration. While it allows for an immersive exploration of the haunted mansion’s history and mysteries, it might test the patience of some audience members. The plot unfolds at a deliberate pace, which helps build tension but might leave some longing for a more concise storyline.
Nonetheless, the stellar cast brings life to the eerie characters. The lead actor’s performance as a courageous investigator unearthing the mansion’s dark secrets is commendable. The supporting cast of ghostly figures adds depth to the narrative, leaving an unforgettable impression.
The haunted mansion itself becomes a character in its own right, revealing its secrets through hidden passages and haunted rooms. The set design is intricate, transporting viewers to a bygone era while maintaining a sense of modernity in its storytelling.
Despite the slightly lengthy duration, “The Haunted Mansion: Leicester Square” keeps the audience engaged with its clever twists and turns. The film weaves a tale of horror, mystery, and redemption, making it a must-see for fans of the genre.
In conclusion, “The Haunted Mansion: Leicester Square” is a visually stunning and hauntingly atmospheric film that takes audiences on a chilling journey into the supernatural. While the duration may concern some, it ultimately contributes to the film’s immersive experience, making it a memorable addition to the horror genre.

I’m excited to do my first ever movie review with friend and model Stefan Perry for Glam Week magazine. Myself, Stef and Maryna the editor of Glam Week had the pleasure to attend the European film Premiere of Disney’s Haunted Mansion, on the 25th of July at London’s Leicester Square. With a ‘spooky chic’ theme that included a ‘Black’ carpet, gravestones, lots of fog and a voodoo DJ, the night was ‘spooktacular’ and lots of fun.
As a fan of the Walt Disney World ride and someone that has been on the ride probably over 100 times since I was 9 years old. I was really excited to attend the premiere which evoked a nostalgia that was executed perfectly.
LaKeith Stanfield leads us through the enchanting streets of New Orleans, with a performance that’s a delightful blend of wit and magnetism. Owen Wilson, Rosario Dawson, and Chase Dillon add their own flavor, but let’s not overlook the uproarious chemistry between Danny DeVito and Tiffany Haddish – a duo that brought laughter to every frame.
Now, let’s peek behind the curtain of this spooky tale. A mother and son venture into an old mansion, craving a fresh start. Little did they know, the mansion is swarming with ghosts.
Escaping? Well, that’s not on the menu!
Jared Leto’s rendition of the hat box ghost is a delightful twist, and Jamie Lee Curtis nails her role as Madame Leota. If you’re a Disney park enthusiast, get ready for a treasure trove of nods and references that’ll leave you grinning ear to ear.
This film doesn’t just sprinkle a touch of Disney magic – it throws in a dash of horror to keep your heart racing while maintaining its family-friendly spirit. It definitely felt more like the haunted mansion that everyone knows and loves, don’t get me wrong I love the Eddie Murphy version, but this film was in my eyes one hundred percent better.
Unexpected cameos, including the delightful Winona Ryder, add an extra layer of excitement. Get ready for a rollercoaster ride that caters to all ages. Whether you’re a seasoned Disney park explorer or a newbie, this movie is a triumphant success.
I give it a 5 star rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
