Alina is a Ukrainian-born model who has made her way to the spotlight in the extremely competitive fashion business in the UK and expanded her career far beyond. Her portfolio shines with crowns of many beauty pageants and features contracts for world-known designers and brands. What is the driving force behind all these achievements?

It seems like you always achieve your goals. What is your life motto? What inspires you to conquer new heights?
I have been trying my best to find inspiration in any modelling offers, and freelance paid or unpaid jobs to get more experience and confidence. Working hard is the key to success and I’ve been working on my career to get great results.

Tell us about your work as a model in the UK. Do you feel like it allows you to realize your potential? What is the main message of your work?
The more you do, the more experience you get. I have been modelling mostly in the United Kingdom and in other countries such as France, Turkey, Dubai and Ukraine.
Yes, I do realize my potential but mostly internationally, as the UK fashion scene is very competitive. However, being confident and believing in yourself gives you the strength persevere and grow.
Being unique and having your own look is crucial for success, especially for a commercial model.

Which beauty pageant that you participated in stands out the most in your memory, and which one played a key role in your career?
Miss Hawaiian Tropic Ukraine 2008 and Miss Tropic Beauty Ukraine 2014 were the most memorable for me.
They both marked milestones in my career.

What story would you tell people who have a dream but are hesitant to put in the effort to achieve it? How do you start believing in yourself?
I’d encourage them to believe in themselves, and try as much as they can. Get the right experience: the more jobs you apply for the more chances you get in the modelling career. You have to believe that one day some major brand or modelling agency will have their pleasure to work with you, and never give up!
