Anna, tell us, when did you first come to Italy? And what turn did your life make after seeing this sunny country?
For the first time, I came to Italy in 2007 under a modeling contract. I worked as a model in Milan for half a year and just fell in love with this city and promised myself to come back. I wasn’t successful in relationships with men. My first boyfriend was Oleg Kenzov, we spent three years together, and he used to beat me. After breaking up with him, I got married two years later. I gave birth to a son, who is now 10 years old. He was born in Italy, because I moved to Milan with my husband, already pregnant. We stayed with my mother, who is married to an Italian and is a well-known confectioner outside Italy. She has her own school of confectionery art.
Two months after my son was born, my husband could not stay in Italy any longer, it was mentally hard for him. A month later, I followed him with my four-month-old son, Daniel. And two years later we broke up.
How did you get an idea of a horse-riding school? Was it a childhood dream?
A year after moving in with my husband, I decided to start my own business. Horses are my lifelong passion; I always dreamed of having a horse and my husband already had two. I learned to ride very quickly, and in a year, I could do show tricks and jump one meter in the air on a horse. After some time, I offered my husband to open a jockey school. He agreed on the condition that I would run it on my own, as he was busy with his construction company. In a couple of months, I already had six horses. I took care of them, fed and washed them. Soon after that, we got our first clients.
What are you busy with right now? Tell us about you projects and plans.
Now I have my own arena and a riding school. Both adults and children come to me for classes. I also do hippotherapy. I teach how to take care of a horse, how to establish rapport with an animal, and how to behave with it. I teach to overcome fear. I also have many other animals: sheep, goats. And there are also pheasants, chickens, geese, ducks… I do a lot of interesting photo projects, I have a big team of photographers, florists, and stylists. People come to me from Rome and Naples. I am currently building my own trattoria. Therefore, my future project is, of course, to open the restaurant and hold wedding ceremonies there.
I want to win people’s hearts with a beautiful view of the Alps from our restaurant, the most delicious desserts from my mother and unique performances – my horses know circus tricks!
You call yourself the most open and sincere blogger. What is your blog about? What do you share with your Insta-family?
In my blog, I break stereotypes about country women. I cook Italian dishes and share my recipes. I travel to the most famous blogging places in Italy, as well as to its unexplored corners. I talk about the pros and cons of living in Italy. I also tell everything about the life of horses and about caring for them. I sometimes show how my Italian husband is learning Russian and talk about our relationship.
