1. What does being a mother and wife mean to you, and how do you prioritize your family life alongside your professional achievements?
Being a wife and mother is such an honor, as I believe traditional family values are the backbone of a strong country. One of my missions is to showcase the beauty of marriage and motherhood and hopefully inspire others to desire the same. My husband and son are my motivation for everything I do. When I succeed, they succeed, and vice versa. Our professional successes as a family make it possible to create a loving home, meaningful memories, and a stable future.
2. What inspired you to become a clinical herbalist, and how has that profession influenced your approach to family health and wellness?
I was brought up in a family that always embraced a natural approach to wellness, using herbs and organic health foods for healing. My Oma, in particular, was the definition of health—she was still biking in her 90s and could keep up with all her energetic grandchildren. Witnessing firsthand the transformative effects of this lifestyle inspired me to study herbal medicine and help others achieve optimal health through natural remedies.
3. How do you incorporate herbal remedies and natural healing into your family’s daily routine?
I love to cook, so I always prepare organic, whole-food meals for my husband and me. I’m also planning healthy baby food recipes for my son, Isaac, as he’ll start teething soon. Whenever my family has health concerns, I go straight to my apothecary to create herbal formulas that are quickly effective and healing. Ensuring my family is nourished and thriving is one of my top priorities.
4. What challenges have you faced while juggling your roles as a mother, wife, and professional, and how do you overcome them?
The biggest challenge is finding enough hours in the day to complete everything on my to-do list. I’ve had to master time management skills, plan ahead, and stick to a schedule. Quality family time always comes first, along with meeting professional deadlines. When things get overwhelming, I remind myself to be kind and patient—taking a moment to breathe and relax is essential. It’s okay if the house isn’t always spotless!
5. How do you see your role as AMB Mrs. Arizona 2024 contributing to your family and your work as a clinical herbalist?
As America’s Most Beautiful Mrs. Arizona 2024, I’ve made many public appearances and built connections within my community. This has given me opportunities to share my work as an herbalist and grow my clientele. I’ve also collaborated with like-minded individuals in the pageant world and volunteer organizations. Competing at seven months pregnant during the AMB Nationals was a defining moment for me—it was my way of showing other women that they can pursue their dreams at any phase of life. I hope to empower others while leaving a legacy of strength and determination for my son and future children.
